National Reading day  observed at Carmelgiri College, Adimaly

Carmelgiri College, Adimali  observed National Reading day  on June 19 with 'Meet the Author' programe. The book didcussed was Janathipathya Classmurikal, written by Bennyamin C E, Assistant  professor of  Carmelgiri College. The programme began with a welcome address by Anitta, student representative form the BSW department. This was followed by an interactive session. Where students asked questions about the book and its themes. Sir Bennyamin C E answered all queries and shared his experiences as a writer and teacher. Sobhana Rajan, Librarian, coordinator, spoke on the significance of National reading day and the importance of the book. She also gave a brief summary about the book, Janathipathya Classmurikal. Vishnu Sir from social work department gave a short review about the book.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Nandhana Muralidharan, student coordinator from commerce department. The event was inspiring. It provided students with a direct opportunity to interact with the author and encouraged them to cultivate  reading habit
